Grahame Lesh, the son of the late Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh, is bringing a handful of musicians back to San Rafael, where his father's former music venue and restaurant operated before closing in 2021, for the return of the Terrapin Roadshow. The traveling concert series launched in 2024 as an opportunity to celebrate the music and community of the Grateful Dead.
Set to take over Forest Meadows Amphitheatre from Friday-Sunday, July 24-26, the all-ages event boasts performances by Lesh and the Terrapin Family Band, in addition to a rotating lineup of special guests that includes bassist Reed Mathis and guitarists Stu Allen and Barry Sless.
The Terrapin Roadshow continues with stops at Monte Rio (Sonoma County), Truckee (Nevada County), Glenwood Springs, Colo. and Grant Pass, Ore. this summer.
