Tesla (TSLA) forecast higher revenue, but increased capital spending weighed on free cash flow, sending its shares -4.9% in premarket trading.
Alphabet (GOOG) (GOOGL) was lower as the Google parent beat quarterly revenue and profit estimates, driven by an 82% jump in cloud revenue to $24.8 billion, though softer operating margins tempered investor sentiment.
The 2-year Treasury yield (US2Y) rose 2.4 basis points to 4.33%, the benchmark 10-year Treasury yield (US10Y) rose 1.0 basis point to 4.68%, and the 30-year Treasury yield (US30Y) rose 0.9 basis point to 5.16%.
On the economic calendar, investors will watch the Chicago Fed National Activity Index, weekly initial jobless claims and the Federal Reserve's balance sheet.
