SEC football predictions, preseason awards, all-conference teams

Here's how our USA TODAY Sports Network panel voted for preseason All-SEC football honors, as well as individual awards and predicted league standings

For the second year in a row, Texas will start the season as the preseason favorite to win the SEC football regular season title, according the USA TODAY Sports Network's predicted order of finish in 2026.

The Longhorns also led the way among the league's 16 member schools with five players selected to the preseason All-SEC team. Five other schools — Georgia, LSU, Missouri, Oklahoma and Mississippi — also had multiple players land All-SEC honors.

Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky, Mississippi State and Vanderbilt were the only teams without an all-SEC preseason selection.

Texas offensive lineman Trevor Goosby and Auburn linebacker Xavier Atkins were the lone unanimous first-team selections.

Here's a rundown of the preseason ballots, voted on by 15 members of the USA TODAY Network who cover the SEC.
