The head of Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency traveled to Washington two weeks ago to discuss the Iran war, in his first visit to the US capital since taking office, Axios reported on Wednesday, citing two unidentified sources with knowledge of the situation.
Roman Gofman met with CIA Director John Ratcliffe and White House officials, the report says.
Channel 14 news — which has repeatedly been accused of violating IDF censor rules — reports that a “very important Israeli delegation” visited the US two weeks ago in an attempt to convince US President Donald Trump to bomb Pickaxe Mountain.
Trump has been threatening to bomb the site in recent days, and recent reports said Israel passed on intelligence to the US showing that Iran moved centrifuges and uranium there last year.
