Ranking the top QBs in the AFC North

The toughest division with the best quarterbacks in the AFC may be in the AFC North. You have two quarterbacks who have won multiple MVP awards, one who took his team to the Super Bowl, and one who has the potential to turn their team around.

Putting together this list was easy; ranking them was hard, but here is my list of the best quarterbacks in the AFC North.

1. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens

Despite him being ranked near the bottom of the Top 100 by his peers this year, Lamar Jackson is still the No. 1 QB in his division. The two-time NFL MVP had an off year last year mainly because of some injuries, but he is still one of the best players in the league. A healthy Lamar Jackson is a dangerous Lamar Jackson, and now with this chip on his shoulder coming into the season, with him having to prove himself once again, he is dangerous, and teams better take note.

2. Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals

When healthy, Joe Burrow is one of the top 10 quarterbacks in the league, but that's when he is healthy. Throughout most of his NFL career, Burrow has not been able to stay healthy. Last year was no exception. Before he was injured, he threw for 1800 yards and 17 touchdowns, seemingly on his way to leading the Bengals back to the playoffs when he got hurt again. We all know what Burrow can do when healthy, and he thinks this may be the best Bengals team he has ever played on since he took them to the Super Bowl in his second year. He may be right, but only if he can stay healthy.

3. Aaron Rodgers, Pittsburgh Steelers

The future Hall of Famer landed at the three spot mainly because his skills have fallen over the years, mainly because of age, not because of desire. Rodgers threw for over 3300 yards and 24 touchdowns, but that's still way off from his normal pace. It may be because of the system he is in, or his age, or both, but one thing the NFL has learned is to never count this former MVP out. Wouldn't be shocking at all to see Rodgers leave the game with one of his best seasons ever.

4. Deshaun Watson/Shedeur Sanders

The Browns quarterback situation is a mess. On one hand, you have a guy who's been on the bench for years trying to make a comeback, and then you have a guy who is a second-year player trying to prove his worth. The potential is there for both players, but which one will come out on top is a mystery to all involved. The battle between the two will be one to watch this upcoming fall camp.
