Raiders 2026 free agents still unsigned as NFL training camps open

Today the first NFL teams have their veterans report to training camp. This starts with the Arizona Cardinals and Carolina Panthers due to their participation in the Hall of Fame game. After that, training camps will start across the NFL over the next few days and into next week.

For the Raiders, Thursday marks the first time players will report to training camp. That's when the rookies, quarterbacks, and select first-year players arrive. The remaining veteran players report on July 28.

Often times when camp begins, there are transactions that come along with that. Making for a late wave of free agent signings for those players who were not signed during the initial waves of free agency that began in March.

Of the many players who were either cut or became unrestricted free agents from the Raiders, only seven signed with new teams -- G Dylan Parham (Jets), QB Kenny Pickett (Panthers), T Stone Forsythe (Panthers), S Lonnie Johnson (Dolphins), CB Darnay Holmes (Falcons), LB Jon Rattigan (Bears), and DE Charles Snowden (Cowboys). There are 12 others still looking for a new team.

It's pretty telling, surely, that so many of the Raiders' 3-14 team last season are still out there. Some of whom are probably approaching retirement while others have a decent chance of finding a home over the next week. They could even see a return to the Raiders if it makes sense.
