Lindsay Clancy is a Massachusetts woman who is awaiting trial following the 2023 murders of her three children. She has been charged with three counts of first degree murder.
Her lawyer, Kevin Reddington, has stated that his client was suffering from depression and insomnia following the birth of her third child. It has also been reported that Lindsay had been prescribed a "dozen different psychiatric medications," according to Boston.com. The report also states that the Clancys filed a malpractice lawsuit against some of her doctors, claiming they failed to diagnose her with bipolar disorder.
Lindsay, 35, has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity.

At the time of the murders, Clancy was married to her husband Patrick Clancy and the family lived in Duxbury.
As the jury selection in the Clancy case continues, there is ongoing curiosity about her husband, who has spoken out in her defense. Over the past three years, Patrick has started life anew. According to The New Yorker, he's living in Manhattan—and there are some unconfirmed reports that he has gotten remarried.
"Pat preferred not to comment on the status of his marriage, out of deference to Lindsay, but his mother told me, ‘He has to come to terms with the fact that she’s no longer part of anything. She’s gonna go her way, and he’s gonna go his,'" read an excerpt from the article.
"I wasn’t married to a monster—I was married to someone who got sick," Patrick told the outlet.
What Did Lindsay Clancy's Husband Say After His Kids Were Murdered?
Shortly after the unthinkable tragedy, a GoFundMe was created in an effort to support Patrick. In an update on January 28, 2023, Patrick thanked the public for their support and paid tribute to each one of his children.
He also shared a bit about his wife, and asked the public to "forgive" her.
"Our marriage was wonderful and diametrically grew stronger as her condition rapidly worsened. I took as much pride in being her husband as I did in being a father and felt persistently lucky to have her in my life," he wrote. "She loved being a nurse, but nothing matched her intense love for our kids and dedication to being a mother. It was all she ever wanted. Her passion taught me how to be a better father."
"I want to ask all of you that you find it deep within yourselves to forgive Lindsay, as I have. The real Lindsay was generously loving and caring towards everyone - me, our kids, family, friends, and her patients. The very fibers of her soul are loving. All I wish for her now is that she can somehow find peace," he added.

What Happened to Lindsay Clancy's Kids?
Lindsay, a former labor and delivery nurse at Massachusetts General Hospital, has reportedly told her lawyers that she did in fact kill Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months. Prosecutors say that Lindsay sent Patrick out to run some errands on Jan. 24, 2023, and strangled her children using exercise equipment while he was gone. She then attempted suicide, jumping out of a second story window of her home, which left her paralyzed from the waist down.
When Patrick returned home, he found his children and wife and quickly called 911. Per Boston.com, Patrick can be heard "screaming in agony and shock" on the phone with the emergency operator.
Cora and Dawson were pronounced dead that night, while Callan was transported to Boston Children's Hospital. He died three days later.
