Paige DeSorbo did not get engaged to her boyfriend while she was on her family vacation in Italy. The Summer House alum recently took to her podcast, where she addressed the rumors surrounding her relationship and revealed who did get engaged during their yearly family trip.
Paige appeared on her podcast, Giggly Squad, on July 17, where she confirmed that she did not get engaged to her reported boyfriend, Joe D’Amelio. "When I saw the [rumor that] I was getting engaged, it was during the middle of the night. And I was like, 'What am I going to do with this?'" she recalled. "So I just went about my life."
While Paige admitted that it was "totally plausible" for her to get engaged on the trip, it didn't happen. "I feel like I got those rumors, though the year before, and the year before that, and the year before that. But I didn't really care," she added.

However, Paige's brother, Gary DeSorbo, did get engaged on the trip. "My brother got engaged," she stated. But Gary didn't care about the rumors coming up during the trip.
"The best thing about it is Gary and his now fiancée, who is like a gem on this Earth. I'm literally so excited for them. She doesn't have an Instagram, either, so they don't give a s--t at all. They were like, 'What?' They are like real people living in the real world," she said.

Paige previously spoke to Us Weekly in February, where she shared new details about her super private relationship. "Yes, we're exclusive," she said. "I'm in my 30's, so it's not like I'm out every single weekend going out on multiple dates like I would have been in my 20s."
And while Paige didn't share too many details about her boyfriend, she did tell the publication that her boyfriend is Italian, which has been "really fun" and "very relaxing."

Paige DeSorbo opens up about keeping her current relationship private
Paige has been in very public relationships in the past, including dating Southern Charm's Craig Conover, who she dated for more than three years until their 2024 breakup. But she told the publication that she planned on keeping her relationship with her current boyfriend more private.
"It was such a balancing act," she said of her previous relationship. "So it's nice to be able to decide what I share and what I don't [with] personal stuff."
