Wistron has opened its first U.S. manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, Texas, to produce AI servers for Nvidia (NVDA), expanding the chipmaker's domestic supply chain as it ramps up U.S. AI infrastructure investments.
The 324,000-square-foot D1 facility produces Nvidia Grace Blackwell Ultra and will also produce Vera Rubin Superchips as part of a combined $700M investment in advanced American manufacturing.
Nvidia said the facility is expected to scale production this year to tens of thousands of AI server boards per month.
“In the next couple of years, this location will be one of the most important, as we build AI infrastructure here in the United States,” Wistron chairman Simon Lin said in a statement.
Nvidia has committed to manufacturing up to $500B in advanced AI platforms in the U.S. Its partner manufacturing facilities span 43 U.S. states, with partners including Wistron, TSMC (TSM), and Foxconn (FXCOF).
