Nissan (NSANY) is recalling nearly 168,000 vehicles in the United States because some certification labels display incorrect Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) information, Reuters reported on Tuesday, citing the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

According to the report, the recall affects certain Nissan Armada and Infiniti QX56 and QX80 vehicles. The incorrect labels could allow the vehicles to be overloaded beyond their intended axle weight limits.

Nissan (NSANY) will remedy the issue free of charge by installing corrected certification labels through its dealers. The automaker will also mail replacement labels to affected vehicle owners, citing the NHTSA.
