Less than two weeks before the MLB trade deadline and it's still not completely clear which teams are going to be buyers and which ones are going to be sellers.
As playoff contenders look to upgrade their rosters, a number of teams have yet to fully signal their intentions leading up to the Aug. 3 deadline. Until then, speculation continues to swirl around which players might be moved.

The MLB trade deadline is at 6 p.m. ET on Aug. 3. While trades will sometimes be revealed after that time, that is when communications for teams to deal players must cease.
Angels 'listening' to offers for Zach Neto
With the worst record in the American League, the Los Angeles Angels are a definite seller at the deadline. But which players could draw attention if they're not dealing Mike Trout?
While starting pitchers Jose Soriano and Reid Detmers and reliever Kirby Yates are the most likely candidates, a new name has surfaced: shortstop Zach Neto.
ESPN reports Angels interim GM John Mozeliak is "at the very least listening" to offers on Neto, who hit a career-high 26 homers in 2025, but already has 19 this season − to go along with 13 stolen bases. The return would likely be substantial with Neto, 26, under team control for the rest of this season, plus three more arbitration years.
Tigers manager: People making up 'dream trade' for Skubal
Detroit Tigers skipper A.J. Hinch on Monday, July 20 downplayed the flurry of trade rumors floating around ace Tarik Skubal. "We've been playing Game 7 since May," Hinch said before an 8-6 win over the Chicago Cubs.
"We know what the conversation around our team is. Tarik is in the news every single day because someone has a dream trade to make up – yet we have a game to win that night."
At 47-53, the Tigers are on the fringe of the playoff race, but they've been playing better since Skubal returned from a six-week absence due to an elbow injury. At the start of play Tuesday, they're 4 1/2 games out of the last AL wild-card spot. However, they could also be a factor in a mediocre AL Central division, which the Chicago White Sox lead with a mark of 53-46.
If the Tigers can't continue their surge, however, Skubal trade rumors will only get louder.
"We've got to block out all the news of what's ahead the next few weeks and get to winning games," Hinch added.
Skubal, a two-time AL Cy Young award winner, has a 2.97 ERA in seven starts since returning from the injured list. He is also a free agent after the season.
Giants could be center of attention among sellers
Among the players potentially available on the trade market, the San Francisco Giants could have the most to offer, in terms of both quality and quantity.
USA TODAY Sports has already identified second baseman Luis Arraez and starting pitcher Robbie Ray among the top three impact players available over the next two weeks. (Reliever JT Brubaker is also at No. 23.)
But they're not the only ones who might be ex-Giants in the near future.
The San Francisco Chronicle reports outfielder Heliot Ramos, who homered Monday night, and utilityman Casey Schmitt are also drawing interest on the trade market.
Ramos, 26, has hit .297 with a .568 slugging percentage since he came off the injured list on June 28.
Schmitt, 27, is in the midst of a career year, slashing .275/.304/.482 with 19 homers, 50 RBI and nine stolen bases. He's seen action at all four infield spots in addition to making 30 appearances in left field.
