BROOKE LOGAN’S WELLNESS TRIP WASN’T ABOUT HEALING
Brooke Logan comes home to Forrester acting like she’s been on a healing journey. Really, Brooke Logan just couldn’t stand watching her daughter succeed without her.
The Homecoming With a Missing Piece
Brooke Logan doesn’t come home from a wellness retreat. She comes home from sulking somewhere quiet because her daughter built a life at Logan that doesn’t run through her, and she couldn’t stand watching it happen. She walks in, kisses Ridge Forrester, plays the reformed wife, and skips the part where she admits any of that out loud.
“I needed time to think” is doing a lot of work in that sentence. What she actually needed was time away from the sight of Hope succeeding without her, her input, or her name attached to it. Calling it a betrayal doesn’t change what it actually is: jealousy with better PR.

A Family Business, Not a Betrayal
And it’s not even subtle jealousy. Hope isn’t out there building some secret empire with strangers who owe Brooke nothing. She’s doing it at Logan, next to her own husband Liam Spencer, under her own aunt Katie Logan‘s roof. If this were really about family loyalty, Brooke would be thrilled, not vanishing for weeks.
This is not new behavior from Brooke Logan. She meddled the moment Hope For the Future launched, certain she understood the business better than the people actually running it. Hope thriving without her isn’t betrayal, it’s a direct threat to the one role Brooke has always needed: the center of it all.
Do you think Brooke genuinely needed a reset, or is she avoiding the real issue? Sound off in the comments below.
The Katie Complication
Katie factors into this too, and not gently. She’s the sister Brooke has spent decades underestimating, and now she’s the one running the company where Hope found her footing. Watching two women Brooke has always overshadowed succeed without her is not a wellness problem. It’s a Brooke Logan problem, plain and simple.
Ridge tells her the PR mess with Eric is handled, and Brooke lets it go without a fight. That’s not peace, that’s Brooke Logan avoiding round two of a conversation she already lost once, quietly, to herself, before she ever came home. Hope isn’t going to let this “wellness” story hold up forever, and when she calls it out directly, Brooke won’t have a rehearsed answer ready.
