Keith Moon sits in the pantheon of the greatest drummers in the history of the music world and delivered a number of the best solos the music world has ever seen.
Producer Glyn johns, who worked with the Who, had the perfect description of Moon's playing style - which fit perfectly with the energetic performers he shared the stage with.
"Well, he played with such complete abandon with just the most phenomenal amount of energy. The best description of Keith is you’d count him off at the beginning of a song and he’d see you at the end and you hoped that everyone would arrive at the end at the same time. He was just completely spontaneous," Johns revealed.
Perhaps Moon's greatest work came from the hit Won't Get Fooled Again.

Grunge listed Won't Get Fooled Again among the five greatest drum solos of all time.
"His micro-sized drum solo on Won't Get Fooled Again from 1971's "Who's Next," which we could define as a kind of prolonged drum fill that leads into the song's outro, isn't the longest, flashiest, or most technically demanding of the solos in this article," Grunge wrote.

Won't Get Fooled Again reached No. 15 on the Billboard Hot 100. Rolling Stone ranked it the No. 295 song in a list of the 500 greatest songs of all time.
