Jennifer Lopez’s ex Marc Anthony, 57, welcomes eighth child with 30-years younger wife

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jennifer Lopez's ex Marc Anthony is a father again as he recently welcomed his eighth child with his decades younger fourth wife, Nadia Ferreira.

The singer, 57, was married to the A-list actress from 2004 to 2014, and the two share two children, 18-year-old twins Max and Emme.

Before Lopez, Anthony was married to former Miss Universe, Dayanara Torres, from 2000 to 2004. His third wife was Shannon De Lima from 2014 to 2017.

He tied the knot for the fourth time in 2023 with the 27-year-old Paraguayan fashion model, Ferreira. The ‘Man on Fire’ actor already shares a son named Marco with Ferreira.

Now on Tuesday, July 21, the couple announced the arrival of their second baby, a daughter, in a joint Instagram post.

Posting two sweet and intimate family photos, they wrote, “What a great blessing to be able to share with you the arrival of our precious MYLA 🤍 you can't imagine the happiness we have at home, we are over the moon 😍.”

Anthony’s other four children are, daughter Arianna, 32, and son Chase, 36, whom he shares with his former girlfriend, Debbie Rosado. He also had sons Christian, 25, and Ryan, 22, with Torres.

Earlier this year, the ‘Flor Pálida’ singer and Ferreira revealed that they were expecting their second baby together on the occasion of their third wedding anniversary.

In an Instagram share, they wrote, “Happy 3rd anniversary!! What a great gift life gives us. God is great. Marquito is going to be a big brother.”

Then in March, the pair revealed the gender of the baby by showcasing a tiny pair of pink shoes as they wrote, “A surprise full of love... God through it all.”

Lopez or their twins did not attend Anthony’s wedding to Miss Paraguay 2021. But Christian, 25, and Ryan, 22, were present for the nuptials, which was officiated by Miami Mayor Francis X Suarez.

Other high profile guests were David Beckham, Salma Hayek, Romeo Santos, Lin Manuel Miranda, and Luis Fonsi.

Meanwhile, the news of Anthony’s new baby came over a month after Lopez reportedly appeared to take a dig at him. During an appearance on the Smartless Podcast, she claimed to raise both her children with “very little help.”

“The past 20 years, it's been one thing. The past five years have been a tumult, and then the last two years have been kind of the healing process from that tumult where I really got to know myself, and the person I am today is so different than the person I was even two years ago,” Lopez added.
