Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has been spotted climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge alongside his wife, Lauren Sánchez Bezos.
Bezos, ranked by Forbes as the fourth-richest person in the world, is understood to have flown in with Lauren on a US$80million private jet on Friday afternoon.
The couple made headlines just hours later when they were spotted eating at Mimi's; an upscale restaurant at Coogee Pavilion in Sydney's east.
Other diners told the Sydney Morning Herald the couple were preceded by a group of bodyguards, who remained close by as the couple enjoyed their meal.
The Bezoses were spotted again on Sunday, this time at the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge, where the couple donned safety suits and harnesses to join three others in a group climb of the landmark.
The purpose of the couple's trip to Australia has not been publicly revealed; it's unclear whether there is a business reason in addition to the sightseeing.

Alongside the Bezoses were American film producer Brian Grazer and his wife, Veronica Smiley Grazer, as well as a climb guide.
Flight-tracking data from Jeff Bezos' Jets, a page on the social platform Bluesky, claimed Jeff and Lauren touched down in Sydney on a Gulfstream G700 private jet at 1.15pm on Friday.
The jet is the most luxurious Gulfstream has to offer. It can host up to 19 people across five living areas and has a range of 14,353km.
It's understood they flew into Sydney after spending three days in Fiji.
Bezos stepped down from his position as CEO of Amazon in mid-2021.
He remains its executive chairman.
Amazon's Web Services division operates 13 data centres in Australia, most of them located in Sydney.
Since handing the CEO position to Andy Jassy, Bezos has devoted most of his attention to his rocket company, Blue Origin.
The aerospace manufacturer is the main rival to fellow American billionaire Elon Musk's own space company, SpaceX.
Blue Origin's low-orbit satellite arm won a contract with NBN Co to provide internet to rural and regional Australia last year.
The deal will replace the network's own ageing Sky Muster satellites.
Bezos' last reported trip to Sydney was in 2016 when he toured local Amazon sites.
