Greetings, Dear Reader,
I'm finally going to address it, but only once.
THE GAYEST, MOST BORING DEBATE OF OUR TIME
I don't care about Candace Owens. I don't care about Nick Fuentes either.
What I care about most right now, setting aside family and community, is utterly annihilating the pipeline that is creating radicals in this country by the hundreds of thousands every year.
If you were to do a Venn Diagram of prominent conservative voices in this country, the bit about destroying, retaking and remaking the left's madrassas – public K-12 schooling, corrosive university culture and curriculum, Antifa's various online hangouts and hives – would firmly reside in the 100% agree area.
Candace agrees. So does Mike Pence. Hell, I bet that ol' coot John Kasich agrees. He probably even thinks about it in makeup before his MSNOW hits.
Did you know that Oregon is the national leaderof "gender dysphoria" diagnoses? Adolescents in Oregon are 16x more likely than those in Mississippi to be diagnosed as transgender. Minors there are 4-5x more likely to receive hormones that permanently alter their biochemistry than anywhere else. It's obviously the pipeline producing this nonsense. There's no other explanation.
Just a stone's throw southwest of there one of those confused queerdos assassinated Charlie Kirk.

I'm in my office and I've got my hands wrapped around the throat of leftism. Now's the time. Kirk was the flashpoint. The right is ascendant. The left has gone nuts. It cut its own penis off and doused itself in gasoline. All in public. It's violent and murderous, in a wig and a "cute" sundress. The left has graduated from ruining the lives of normals for saying sir instead of ma'am. Now it threatens judges. It plans hits on police. It assassinates. Voters are not only terrified, but disgusted. It's unrecognizable from the 90s, from the time of the better of two Clintons.
Now is the moment. I'm giving it all I've got, really pressing, leaning in hard, enthusiastically.
Almost there. Drool is dripping off my snarling teeth. Allllmost there.
But then I hear a sound behind me.
It's a bunch of too-online conservatives bickering over Israel and Iran. Again with white nationalism. Again with conspiracy theories. More purity tests? I thought we were past this.
They can't decide who gets to light the match.
Worse, they're demanding I weigh in.
"Shhhh," I say, leaning harder, "I'm concentrating."

Very Online Social Media gatekeeping about what is or is not "Conservative" is the gayest, most boring debate of all time. It's also ineffectual if you don't count the distraction. Elite media nerds don't decide what Conservatism is. If they did, Jeb! would have won in 2016.
Please clap.
It took me years to fully appreciate Reagan's eleventh commandment, but now I finally get it. Conservatives battling it out over Israel right now might as well just get it over with and kiss. Arguing about Nick Fuentes, Candace or the Tate Brothers and where they fit in Conservaworld, whether they do at all, is gayer than Lindsey Graham's secret life.
(The least you can say about the man is he wasn't corrupt, eh? He and I basically have the same net worth, which is to say, not much.)
Poo-pooing other conservatives for trashing Nolan's retelling of Homer's classic is gayer than two dudes smooching.
(Nolan is a master of his craft, it's worth noting, but even highfalutin lefty critics have said this version is devoid of Odysseus's true character, but I digress. Does it f***in' matter?)
Are we not all aware of what's actually at stake? Have we lost the sight picture completely? For the love of God, ignore Candace Owens. Mute her, dude. I patently do not care what she says unless she becomes the new president of Harvard.
We're the proverbial dog who caught the car. Except we're a pack of dogs, the car is a deranged maniac in a dress in the lady's room, and instead of him we're mounting attacks on each other.
It's lame and gay.
There are more consequential battles to fight.

What I loved most about working for Tucker is there were no purity tests. Just be interesting and true, that's all he wanted.
He and I obviously didn't see eye to eye on everything. He didn't care. I know I wrote columns with which he disagreed. I know this because he told me so over a dinner he paid for and the next day I was still a senior editor at his brand. Never thought once I'd be shitcanned.
The pro- and anti-war elements of Conservatism, for example, have way more in common with each other than they don't. War is certainly a serious topic. We've seen with Iran that it's distracted us from a great many things plaguing America internally.
We're also not storming the Chinese coastline. It's not an all-consuming endeavor. It's not existential. The anti-war types think every time we dust a terrorist, it's WWIII. It isn't. That's gay. Shut up.
I for one fall somewhere between the two camps. It's good to kill bad guys. It's good to let rogue regimes know what the stick feels like. I can get behind a little nation destruction. But nation-building? Protracted conflict? Regime change? Pretty gay.
Almost none of it holds a match to certain things we all agree are on that existential level.
All the problems facing us here domestically are downstream of shitty education. All of them. Socialism isn't popular with the working class. It's popular among "educated" lefties with mountains of student loan debt who feel they're owed a $200,000/yr gig at a government-funded NGO, or in some corporate executive staff as a "chief experience officer."
Foreign fraudsters are also a problem. Right up there with education. Foreigners in general. They need to be gone. Cut off, debanked, rendered economically inert. Take a note from the UK, which is planning to extradite the Tate brothers on charges that it pretty much allows carte blanche for people of Pakistani descent. Trafficking? Child rape? You're South Asian? Right this way, good sir!
That too is a problem of education. We're told the West is oppressive, therefore foreigners get to rape and murder white children. Really as simple as that.
I'm sorry, what? Did I hear what Candace just said? Someone emailed her that Netanyahu assassinated Lindsey Graham with a heart attack gun?
Do I care what people email to Candace Owens? Can you guess?
