A 14-year-old girl has died after she was found unresponsive in a hot tub.
The girl, whose identity has not been publicly released, was discovered in the hot tub of a residence located on the 1000 block of East Greenwood Avenue in Crown Point, Ind., in the early morning hours of Wednesday, July 22, according to local outlets Fox32, NBC Chicago, WGN, and CBS Chicago.
Upon arrival, the Crown Point Fire Department attempted to perform “life-saving measures” on the girl, who was brought to Franciscan Health Crown Point, where she later died, per WGN, CBS Chicago, and Fox32.

It is unclear if police suspect foul play at this time, and a cause of death has not been released.
