Indiana football landed its first verbal commitment from a 5-star recruiting prospect last Friday when Monshun Sales, a wide receiver out of Lawrence North High School in Indianapolis, announced his intention to play for the Hoosiers.
The program’s recruiting efforts have been on the rise since its breakout first season under Curt Cignetti in 2024, only accelerating this past year after winning its first national title. Sales’ commitment, which came against several of the sport’s heavyweights, can be seen as a byproduct of the title run.
With all of this in mind, how confident are you, the Indiana fan, in the football program’s recruiting efforts? Indiana’s incoming class of 2027 currently ranks 30th nationally by 247Sports’ metrics and 28th nationally by those of Rivals, with more movement to come and ratings to be finalized.
