Several armed Palestinian Islamic Jihad operatives and other gunmen were killed in a strike in the southern Gaza Strip yesterday, the military announces.
The IDF says soldiers of the Paratroopers Brigade’s Reconnaissance Unit spotted the gunmen moving weapons into a vehicle and entering it.
“The weapons they transferred were intended to be used in attacks against IDF troops operating in the area,” the military says.
The IDF says that a short while later, it carried out airstrikes on the armed terror operatives who were inside the car and near it, “to remove the threat.”
