Samsung's new foldables are here! And while the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra follows the form factor we've seen for years now, the "regular" Galaxy Z Fold 8 is here to shake things up!
With wider screens, a thin profile, and an extremely light build, it just looks like a tasty bite. And a lot of people who have stayed away from foldables thus far may just find themselves craving a Z Fold 8!
The Galaxy Z Flip 8 has also been improved and modernized based on feedback from the previous generation. Now easier to open, and with a Flex Screen that houses even more widgets and that you can customize to express yourself.
Each one of these has a reason for you to want it. And Samsung's current deals make it pretty hard to say "no" right now!

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra continues the tradition of being multi-tasking oriented. The internal display is square-shaped to allow side-by-side apps to be displayed natively. Its cover screen has an aspect ratio of 21:9 — the tall view that modern chocobar phones have. Plus, it's the thinnest Galaxy Z Fold ever, making it easier to use like a "normal phone" when it's folded.
The wide Galaxy Z Fold 8 stole the show with its new form factor. The main screen opens up to a 4:3 format, allowing for better viewing of movies, clips, books, and a better gaming experience. It's also built to be the lightest Galaxy Fold yet. Its cover screen is also wider as a result of its redesign, with a 16:10 aspect ratio, harkening back to how smartphones used to look 10 years ago. However, this one has razor-thin bezels, ensuring easy and effortless handling.
Both new Z Folds are built with the new Titanium Flex technology, redesigning the hinge and screen support to be sturdier and more stable, and minimizing the crease. Not just out-of-factory but also reducing the display sheet fatigue in that area in particular. To top it off, their main screens now feature a new anti-glare treatment, like on Samsung's other premium products!
The Galaxy Z Flip 8 has also been redesigned to be easier to flip open and to have a lighter and sturdier hinge. But the star of the show is the new Exynos 2600 chip inside — the first mobile processor built on a 2 nm process. Made by Samsung, in-house.
All models start at 256 GB of fast storage and 12 GB of RAM. Those who upgrade a Z Fold 8 or Z Fold 8 Ultra to 1 TB will get 16 GB of RAM.
The phones launch with One UI 9 over Android 17. Bringing Samsung's upgrades to Galaxy AI with more supported apps for its agentic systems. You will be able to do even more without even opening the phone — just ask the Assistant to do it!
The Galaxy Z series will be available for purchase on August 7. Deals outlined above only available for the pre-order period!
