July 22 (UPI) -- Universal Studios announced Fortnite areas at this year's Universal Halloween Horror Nights on Wednesday. Horror Nights begin Aug. 28 in Orlando, Fla. and Sept. 3 in Hollywood, Calif. and run through Nov. 1 in both parks.
The parks will include scare zones based on the Fortnitemares gaming events. Scare zones are areas in the park where themed characters jump out and interact with passersby.
Fortnitemare scare songs recreate Freaky Fields, a battleground that includes the Battle Bus and Fortnite characters, including some created exclusively for Universal Studios.
Fortnitemare merchandise for sale will include a graphic T-shirt, decal set and acrylic figure.
Universal Studios previously announced Stranger Things, Hellraiser and Evil Dead Burn attractions for this fall's event.
