Fatal crash closes portion of I-480 near Hudson

HUDSON, Ohio — A fatal rollover crash early Thursday morning closed a section of Interstate 480 in Summit County, according to Hudson police. The Ohio Department of Transportation’s OHGO website showed that all lanes on I-480 east beyond the Ohio 91/Darrow Road exit were closed at 5:30 a.m. There were no indications on when the highway would reopen. HUDSON, Ohio — A fatal rollover crash early Thursday morning closed a section of Interstate 480 in Summit County, according to Hudson police.

The Ohio Department of Transportation’s OHGO website showed that all lanes on I-480 east beyond the Ohio 91/Darrow Road exit were closed at 5:30 a.m. There were no indications on when the highway would reopen.

No details on the crash had been released early Thursday. The police department was urging drivers to take alternative routes.
