Eighth annual Military Heroes Festival returns to Liberty Station on July 25

The 8th annual Military Heroes Festival will be held on Saturday, July 25, at Ingram Plaza in Liberty Station.

Hosted by the Rock Church in partnership with Liberty Station, the free event offers complimentary groceries, backpacks, haircuts, lunch from Chick-fil-A, and children’s diapers alongside live entertainment, a kids’ play area, and a sports zone for active military families, gold-star families, and active-duty reservists.

The festival will be held from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. With a Superhero theme in mind, some of the entertainment activities for the event will include live music, face painters and more.

Formerly San Diego’s Naval Training Center, Liberty Station is dedicated to honoring and preserving the property’s military history while celebrating its transformation into one of Southern California’s top destinations for dining, arts, shopping, wellness, and entertainment.
