Costco has done it again. The big box store that brought the world blueberry custard pie, Kirkland Signature everything, and the $1.50 hot dog combo, now has added a new croissant to its bakery lineup.

From garlic bread to sourdough bread bowls to raspberry-filled sugar cookies and perfect birthday cakes, the bulk store’s bakery section has become the stuff of carb lovers’ dreams. Costco’s butter croissants are legendary. In fact, they won our store-bought croissant taste test, thanks to their taste, layers, and the fact that there is more of them to love, because they’re larger in both size and quantity, perfect for feeding a crowd. They are so popular that Costco likes to give customers new flavors to love, including the newest addition to the lineup: Twice Baked Cinnamon-Filled Croissants

According to the Costco watchers at the CostcoBuys Instagram account, the Kirkland Signature Twice Baked Cinnamon-Filled Croissants come in a pack of six flaky croissants filled with cinnamon cream, baked twice for extra crunch, and finished with a cinnamon streusel and simple syrup glaze, all for $9.99. They sound similar to the chain’s almond croissants, but with even more of a crunch.

If somehow you have leftovers, these cinnamon-filled croissants would undoubtedly make an incredible twist on a croissant breakfast casserole.  While they might be a little strange in a Cheesy Sausage-And-Croissant Casserole, Croissant Breakfast Casserole, or Stuffed Ham-and-Cheese Croissant Casserole, no judgment if you want to try them. We’ll be swapping them into this recipe instead.
