With training camp drawing closer for the Indianapolis Colts, we typically put together a 53-man roster prediction based on what we learned during offseason programs.
We will still be doing that, but the format will be different. Rather than cramming every position group into one article, we'll devote an entire article to one unit before compiling our predictions at the end.

Roster locks: Rigoberto Sanchez, Luke Rhodes
These are the only two players on the roster at their respective positions, and both continue to perform at high levels.
Who wins the kicking battle?
Shrader missed most of last season after sustaining an ACL injury. Before then, he was 14-for-14 on extra points and 13-of-14 on field goals, which included hitting a game-winner against Denver.
Grupe joined the team in Week 14 and was a perfect 10-for-10 on field goal attempts and 11-for-11 on extra points, according to PFF. He was then re-signed this offseason as a free agent.

Rigoberto Sanchez, Luke Rhodes, Blake Grupe
Grupe has experience on his side with 105 career attempts under his belt compared to Shrader's 19, and he's also not coming off a significant injury either. He also seems to have the early advantage following offseason programs.
