Chinese robotics player AGIBOT has unveiled four new robotics products, expanding its range of humanoid, industrial, and dexterous robotic systems.

Launched at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) 2026 in Shanghai, the lineup includes the A3 Ultra humanoid robot, the X2 Edu education platform, the G2 Max industrial robot, and the OmniHand 3 Ultra-M robotic hand.

The A3 Ultra is a full-size humanoid for commercial and service tasks. Standing 1.74 metres tall, the robot offers 51 degrees of freedom and carries up to 11 pounds (5 kilograms) per arm.

Recently, AGIBOT livestreamed G2 humanoid robots autonomously inspecting tablets and handling materials at a factory while announcing the production of its 15,000th robot.

AI robots advance

The four new robotics products are aimed at expanding the use of embodied AI across commercial, educational, and industrial applications.

Leading the lineup is the A3 Ultra, a full-size humanoid robot built for long-duration operation in commercial, service and public environments. The robot stands 1.74 meters (5.7 feet) tall, weighs 132 pounds (60 kilograms), and features 51 degrees of freedom.

AGIBOT claims that it can lift 11 pounds (5 kilograms) with each arm and operate for up to eight hours. Equipped with 3D LiDAR, RGB-D, fisheye and binocular cameras, along with GPS, RTK and UWB positioning, the humanoid is designed to navigate and work autonomously in complex environments. Powered by NVIDIA Thor, it supports direct charging, battery swapping and autonomous recharging.

The company also launched the X2 EDU, a humanoid development platform for education and robotics research. Standing about 1.3 meters (4.3 feet) tall, it has 29 degrees of freedom, including seven in each arm, and can handle payloads of 6.6 pounds (3 kilograms). Its modular design and open hardware architecture allow developers to customize the robot with additional sensors, computing modules, and end effectors.

For industrial applications, AGIBOT unveiled the G2 Max, a heavy-payload embodied robot designed for material handling and palletizing. It combines force-controlled arms, adjustable working height, omnidirectional mobility and battery-swapping capability for continuous factory operations.

Rounding out the launches is the OmniHand 3 Ultra-M, a dexterous robotic hand weighing 1.4 pounds (630 grams). Featuring 20 active degrees of freedom, it can grip objects weighing up to 11 pounds (5 kilograms) and uses vision-based tactile sensors for precise, contact-rich manipulation.

Factory automation evolves

Alongside its new products, AGIBOT showcased several real-world industrial deployments developed with partners including Longcheer Technology and PIA Automation. The robots are being used for tasks such as tablet quality inspection, chip handling, material transport and other repetitive manufacturing processes.

One of the highlights is the deployment of G2 humanoid robots at Longcheer Technology’s manufacturing facility in Nanchang, where they operate on a live tablet production quality inspection line. The robots perform a complete workflow, including collecting materials, placing components with precision, interacting with inspection equipment and returning finished products.

AGIBOT said the production line was integrated within 36 hours and now supports around 3,000 tablets per shift, with the robots logging more than 64 hours of continuous operation while keeping downtime below 4 percent.

The firm claims that unlike controlled demonstrations, these robots work alongside existing factory equipment, maintaining production speed, adapting to changing conditions and carrying out tasks repeatedly without requiring major changes to the production line.

Beyond manufacturing, AGIBOT is also demonstrating robots for tourism, transportation and commercial services, where they assist with visitor guidance, information services, route navigation and other customer-facing tasks.
