The Indiana Fever achieved a blowout win, 123-88, over the Connecticut Sun, just days ahead of the WNBA All-Star Game, and Caitlin Clark once again led the charge.
Clark finished with 27 points on 8 of 13 field goals, which also included going 5 of 9 on 3-pointers. The Fever All-Star also dished out 11 assists and finished with a plus-minus rating of plus-25.
With her 25-plus points, 10-plus assists, and plus-25 rating, she became the first WNBA player in history to achieve those particular statistics in a single game.
Clark’s latest piece of history comes soon after she achieved another historic feat, going off for a stat line that included 45 points and 10 assists in a win over the Seattle Storm on July 17. However, her historic game against the Sun on Wednesday night also included a dangerous foul.

Clark, known for trash-talking opponents or complaining to the referees over calls and non-calls, told Suns opponent Saniya Rivers to “check the [expletive] scoreboard” with the Fever up nearly 30 points in the third quarter. Rivers must have also said or done something, as both she and Clark received technical fouls.
For Clark, it was her seventh technical foul of the season, which brings a $1,000 fine. If she receives an eighth technical foul this season, it brings a $1,500 fine and results in an automatic one-game suspension, which could hinder the Fever’s progress.
Ahead of the Fever’s game against the Sun, Clark responded to a media question about the situation, saying she has no plans to change her approach to games. That clearly showed in Wednesday night’s game and her seventh tech.
However, she also continues to show her value to the team and how much potential she has for some massive performances down the road.
Other feats she’s already conquered in her career include setting the WNBA single-game assist record of 19 assists in July 2024 and passing the New York Liberty’s Sabrina Ionescu in May 2026 to take over the record for most 25-point, 10-assist games.
Their latest victory moved the team to 17-10, which is tied for fifth place with Angel Reese and the Atlanta Dream. Players will be on the All-Star break after tonight’s game. Clark and her teammates, Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell, will all participate in the game on Saturday night.
The next time Clark and the Fever will be on the court for a game will be on Tuesday, July 28 at the Seattle Storm.
