A mother fell 100ft to her death in a tragic bungee jump accident as her husband witnessed the devastating scene unfold.
Yevgenia Leontyeva, 33, lost her life during the "free-flying" extreme sport activity in Kazakhstan, with instructor Alexander Muznikas receiving a four-year prison sentence following the fatal incident.
Her husband, Alexander Tkachenko, was forced to witness the heartbreaking moment his wife died before him, a court in Kazakhstan heard. He said: "My wife was crushed before my eyes." It comes as bungee jump workers gave a disturbing excuse after throwing woman to her death without a rope.

The mother allowed her friend to jump first, and that "rope free-flying" attempt was successful, the court in Karaganda was told in 2022, according to News. com.au, reports the Irish Mirror.
Witnesses reported Yevgenia seemed "afraid" - yet they heard the instructor urging her to jump anyway. The instructor said: "It's not the first time you've jumped. You know how to do it. Did I put a safety harness on you for nothing?".

She is then seen in an extremely distressing video leaping from the rooftop moments after her husband Alexander Tkachenko told her "I love you".
The 33-year-old struck an iron fence on the ground after a supporting rope had not been correctly secured to a tree.
Screams erupted from onlookers on the roof while those watching below were seen rushing to assist her following the catastrophic fall. A cross-line to which her rope was attached - designed to break her fall and leave her suspended above the ground - failed to hold.
According to local reports, a man was seen collapsing to the ground as she fell towards the earth.
He is believed to have been holding the safety line which should have been secured to the tree, and he was knocked down by the force of her descent pulling on the unfastened rope.
Her grieving husband said: "After her fall, I knelt beside her. He [the instructor] came, but I don't remember what happened then. She was still breathing.
"I came to support my wife. My wife was crushed before my eyes - I was in shock and panic. It was clearly the employee's fault.
"They did not coordinate their actions. The instructor didn't look down to make sure the rope was tied. I don't wish this on anyone, and he must serve time in jail. This, of course, will not return my spouse and mother of my children...."
The mother suffered a severe skull fracture, brain injuries, and multiple right-sided fractures. She was transported to hospital but quickly died of her injuries.
A friend of the victim, Anton Shevelev, testified in court that he had requested the instructor remove the harness because Yevgania was "afraid to jump" and they would "go home". However, Muznikas persuaded her to proceed with the jump, he said.
Yevgenia had three boys under 14, two of her own, and the son of a relative who had passed away. Prior to the accident, Yevgenia and her friend had shared posts saying 'Live it up' and 'We're going to fly' on social media.
Muznikas was convicted of providing services that did not meet safety requirements and causing death through negligence. He received a four-year prison term. It comes after the Ohio house of horrors parents mysteriously vanished after school's sinister complaint.
