Farmer, 35, is hitting .267 with three RBIs in 12 games and 15 at-bats this season, his first with Atlanta. He missed six weeks with a forearm strain.

The Braves are also set to get former MVP outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. (hamstring) and infielder Ha-Seong Kim (middle finger) back in the near future, with both currently on rehab assignments at Triple-A Gwinnett.
