The best-selling car of 2026 isn't a car; it's a truck: the FordF-150. The midsize truck occupies the best-selling spot, with the Chevrolet Silverado in second place. With the first six months of 2026 done, we've put together a list of this year's winners so far. These cars are popular for a reason, and if you're shopping, there's something to be said for jumping on the bandwagon.

However, there is one thing to note with some vehicles on this list: there are some estimates. Tesla is one such automaker that does not disclose its full sales figures, so we've collected estimates from industry experts.

1. Ford F-Series: 353,320 units

Some sort of seismic shift will have occurred on the day the Ford F-150 isn't America's best-selling vehicle. The perennial F Series as a whole is how Ford measures it, though, which is a bit cheap. Regardless, we omitted the now-dead Lightning to even things out. Tons of configurations, a solid tow rating, and strong pricing make the F-150 what it is.

2. Chevrolet Silverado: 268,884 units sold

Again, something seismic will have had to happen if the Chevrolet Silverado isn't sitting at or near the top of an outright best-sellers list. The Silverado's huge swath of powertrains explains why it's such a seller, and we don't mind its solid touchscreen either.

3. Honda CR-V: 226,114 units sold

The Civic's hatchy cousin, the CR-V is cavernous. It's why it sells well. That, and its hybrid powertrain, which gives a solid boost in fuel economy. We're also fans of the straightforward, no-nonsense interior.

4. Ram pickup: 207,616

Power and performance let Ram carve its way to a fourth-place slot. The new V8 lineup should help there. More than that, the 1500 is comfy and quiet, while HD versions could pull the sun.

5. Toyota Camry: 179,044 units sold

46 mpg. In a fuel crisis, the Toyota Camry is a no-brainer. The efficiency is paired with a roomy interior, too, and plenty of driver aids. Really, you can't go wrong for a midsized sedan.

6. GMC Sierra: 167,710 units sold

The Sierra is a Swiss Army knife, and a luxury version of the above Silverado. That means what makes the above good makes this here better. The Denali trim in particular is astoundingly luxurious for a truck.

7. (Probably) Tesla Model Y: 163,454 units sold

We're all left to guess whether Tesla actually sold around this many cars - the brand doesn't do sales figures. But if estimates are right, it's the best-selling EV in the US and the seventh-best overall. That's due largely to its hefty range figures and excellent Supercharger network.

8. Toyota RAV4: 153,955 units sold

The updated RAV4 is better than ever. There's even better fuel economy and, at last, a much-needed update to the interior space. We love the standard driver aids, too.

9. Toyota Tacoma: 143,848 units sold

The Tacoma, like the larger pickups here, gets by on variety. The litany of bed configurations and cabs means there's a truck for everyone here. In the quest for the top truck spot, variety is the spice of life.

10. Nissan Rogue: 135,970 units sold

The Nissan Rogue does all the good crossover stuff without being expensive, and that's the secret sauce. The big interior can be had with a load of solid features, and there's plenty of standard driver aids.
