The Cincinnati Bengals shocked their fan base when they announced they’d join the 21st century and have some sort of way to honor their past greats. The Ring of Honor was introduced in 2021, and the first four names to be enshrined were Anthony Munoz, Ken Riley, Ken Anderson and Paul Brown. Since then, eight more names have been added, including Boomer Esiason, Dave Lapham and Chad Johnson.
The Bengals revealed the 12 former Bengals players who are eligible to be nominated for the team’s Ring of Honor, and today is the day we find out which two will be enshrined.
The nominees are:

- James Brooks
- Cris Collinsworth
- Carlos Dunlap
- David Fulcher
- AJ Green
- Leon Hall
- Max Montoya
- Bob Trumpy
- Andrew Whitworth
- Reggie Williams
This is a who’s who of Bengals greats. Guys like Breech, Brooks, Fulcher, Montoya and Trumpy are names generations of Bengals fans grew up hearing about, while Green, Dunlap, Whitworth and Atkins are likely closer to the modern-day fans’ hearts.
