There was almost never a doubt that Argentina was going to be upset and maybe even angry after losing to Spain 1-0 in the World Cup final.
Sadly, the biggest question was really on how bad things would get toward the end of the match if Argentina was losing, but — as it turns out — it was more about how irate and hostile Argentina would be after the game that really stole show.
While not as terrible as some of those clutching their pearls have made it out to be, it was a bit embarrassing, with a dose of being classless mixed in for the 2022 World Cup champions.

To be blunt — losing is never fun. Losing to a heated rival is even worse. However, none of these things needed to happen.
