On Thursday, July 16, the star behind Christopher Nolan’s Penelope—the queen of Ithaca and wife of Odysseus—stepped out in New York City in a duck-blue Alaïa dress that one-upped her own pregnancy style streak.

The piece, crafted from jersey and cut on the bias for a fluid feel, featured a spaghetti-strap halter-top neckline and long ankle-length skirt. An extra layer of gathered fabric added a softly sculpted detail to the front, meant to wrap around and tie at the waist. Hathaway, however, left this undone, letting the extra pieces trail behind her and her baby bump breathe beneath the dress.

The actor paired the duck-blue number with a handful of gold accessories. She turned to Bvlgari for several pieces of jewelry—dangly earrings and a bracelet from its Serpenti Viper collection, a thick statement necklace, a Tubogas watch, and a chunky ring. For shoes, she went with Gianvito Rossi stiletto sandals.

To finish things off, she blocked the sun with black shades and left her long brown waves down.

Later that same day, Hathaway stepped out in an all-white look, composed of a lacy, boxy cropped cardigan layered over a plain tee and relaxed trousers. Though she left the blue behind, she did carry a green jacquard Valentino bag for a little pop of color.

The 2026 take on Homer’s classic Greek epic, out now (and sold out nearly everywhere), starred Hathaway alongside a stacked ensemble cast: Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Samantha Morton, Zendaya, Charlize Theron, and more.
