Families looking for homes near a good school district and an easy drive to area jobs, restaurants and shopping will have another option in a new Haltom City development starting in September.
Graham Hart Home Builder is building 40 homes in a new community called Diamond Meadows, at 4100 Denton Highway near Loop 820, Interstate 35W and Highway 183.
Darren Cohen, community sales manager for Graham Hart, said the home prices are under $500,000 and will be on lots 60 feet wide and above.
“There is space between neighbors, and people will have backyards,” he said.
Cohen described the homes as “elegant and highly functional.” Features include 3.5-car garages, custom kitchens and covered patios.
Graham Hart sought the Haltom City location because it is conveniently located to shopping, restaurants and entertainment in cities like North Richland Hills, Keller and Watauga, and it’s only a 15-minute drive from downtown Fort Worth and DFW Airport.
“We just fell in love with the land when we saw it,” Cohen said. “Haltom City is so centrally located, but has not had new single family homes built for a long time.”
The Birdville school district will also draw families to the area, Cohen said as it offers Gifted & Talented and Career and Technical Education programs.
Some of the other nearby schools are, O.H. Stowe Elementary, North Oaks Middle, and Haltom High School.
