Apple-centric outlets like MacRumors and 9to5Mac predict the foldable will be announced in tandem with the iPhone 18 this September. Though Apple hasn't officially released any details about a foldable iPhone, these outlets suspect the phone to fold vertically, like a book and when unfolded, be about the size of an iPad mini.
