Comfortable Adidas Sneakers for Disneyland

Hot tip for anyone with a Disneyland trip coming up — and it’s not about the rides. Make sure you wear Adidas sneakers.

I visit Disneyland multiple times per year, so I thought I had my list of park essentials down to a science — until my most recent trip. I spotted hundreds of park-goers wearing Adidas sneakers, and suddenly I needed a pair, too.

Hollywood A-listers are also fans of Adidas, giving me another reason to finally grab a pair.  Jessica Alba, Mariska Hargitay, and Anne Hathaway have all worn the brand in recent months.

I rounded up seven pairs of Adidas sneakers on Amazon for your next Disneyland trip, including the ever-popular Sambas, starting at $40.

These days, it seems like I can’t leave my house without seeing Adidas Samba sneakers at least once — and that was certainly the case at Disneyland, since I noticed them everywhere. While they were particularly popular among teens and young adults (and in fact, my friends’ teens told me recently that it’s their number-one sneaker pick), I did see plenty of grown-ups sporting them, too. The leather lace-up sneakers have the brand’s signature three stripes on the sides, and they come in sizes 5–14.5.

A low-top silhouette and side stripes give these sneakers a similar vibe to the Adidas Sambas, and they come in both smooth leather and suede. Multiple shoppers raved about their comfort level, including one reviewer who walked around Europe in them and said they’re “soft, light, and move with your feet seamlessly.”

Sally Field wore white platform sneakers recently, so I’m taking a page from her stylebook in this Adidas pair. They’re designed in synthetic leather, which will work well for water rides like Tiana’s Bayou Adventure or Grizzly River Run, and the platform soles will help support my feet throughout 20,000-plus step days around the park.

If you like buying items in multiples, these low-top sneakers are right up your alley, because they come in over 30 colors and patterns. I’m especially drawn to the red leather with pink suede stripes, which will work perfectly for a Minnie Mouse-inspired park outfit, and they come in sizes 5–11, with wide widths available.

These sneakers have midsoles that adapt to your unique stride and feel custom-made to your feet, so they won’t tire out after an open-to-close amusement park day. “I am on my feet a lot, and these give me the support I need so my feet and back don’t hurt by the end of the day,” one shopper raved.

Lightweight cushioning, a knit upper, and treaded rubber outsoles make these sneakers breathable, comfortable, and stable enough to walk for miles at the parks. They come in eight colors and prints, including a polka-dot version I can’t wait to wear at Disneyland, plus sizes 5–11.

You’ll be in stylish company when you slip into these ballerina sneakers, since the style has popped up on celebrities like Charlize Theron and Julia Roberts. They have criss-crossing Mary Jane straps to keep your feet secure, so you don’t have to worry about them sliding off on a ride like Soarin’. Choose from nine colors like red, metallic silver, and espresso brown.
