From gorgeous jewelry to coronation crowns to designer loyalty, Queen Camilla has found many ways to honor the late Queen Elizabeth II with her looks.

Queen Camilla is one of the most fashionable members of the British royal family. While her tastes aren't as daring as other royals like Kate Middleton or Meghan Markle, she maintains a classic, refined sense of style no matter what the occasion is. From tailored coat dresses, to elaborate hats and tasteful jewelry, Camilla understands how to dress as a mature monarch. While she has made the occasional fashion misstep, the royal matriarch's public appearances see her looking perfectly understated and chic more often than not.

As Queen Camilla's best Trooping the Colour outfits over the years have shown, the queen consort also often incorporates elements of Queen Elizabeth II's fashion into her looks. Since her crowning alongside husband King Charles in 2023, Camilla has honored her late mother-in-law through her wardrobe. Whether by rocking the queen's favorite brands, or picking brooches from Elizabeth's personal collection, Camilla cleverly channels Elizabeth's regal energy for important events. The late Queen Elizabeth had an undeniable mark on British fashion, and Camilla is keeping her style legacy alive even today.

Queen Camilla paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth at a garden party during Scotland's Royal Week in 2026. Camilla attended the event in a navy blue dress and matching hat, but the standout piece was the Diamond Thistle Brooch pinned to her lapel. The brooch has been passed down through the royal family for generations, though Elizabeth didn't wear it until 2010; after that, the late monarch consistently wore the brooch for political events in Scotland. Now, Camilla is continuing the tradition.

Queen Camilla paid homage to Queen Elizabeth at King Charles' coronation through her crown. Camilla was crowned with the Queen Mary's Crown, which was originally crafted for Queen Mary in 1911. Camilla chose to wear this crown for her ceremony, becoming the first queen consort to ever re-wear a crown from years past, but added a few details in honor of her late mother-in-law. Camilla had the crown reset with diamonds belonging to Elizabeth, and even wore one of the robes that the former monarch wore for her coronation in 1953.

While Queen Camilla's Grenadier Guards uniform-inspired look made her one of the biggest fashion flops at Trooping the Colour 2026, her outfit included a sweet nod to Queen Elizabeth. Camilla pinned the late Queen's Grenadier Guards brooch to her lapel, which Elizabeth originally had made in 1942. While the brooch didn't quite save Camilla's look, it did serve as a thoughtful homage to her mother-in-law during one of the royal family's biggest celebrations of the year.

Queen Elizabeth's jewelry collection is staggering, so some of her pieces have been largely forgotten just by virtue of how many different brooches she wore. Queen Camilla revived one of the late monarch's rarest brooches for her U.S. State Visit in 2026. Camilla wore a unique pin that featured the respective flags of the United Kingdom and United States crossed together as a show of unity. The brooch was originally gifted to Elizabeth in 1957 during her first U.S. State Visit.

Queen Elizabeth was fiercely loyal to her favorite brands, and her love of Launer London handbags has lived on even after her passing. Queen Camilla took a page from her mother-in-law's book by carrying a Launer London black clutch during a Buckingham Palace royal garden party in May 2026. This was a more low-key tribute to the late Queen; while Camilla didn't wear a bag from Elizabeth's collection, she still showed support for the monarch's beloved brand.

Even when following the Vatican's strict dress code, Queen Camilla managed to subtly reference Queen Elizabeth. While meeting Pope Leo XIV in October 2025, Camilla donned a modest black dress, black veil, and a crown of black leaves. She kept her accessories minimal, with a four-string pearl necklace and matching earrings, as well as a brooch from Elizabeth's personal collection. The brooch is modeled after a Georgian-era "raspberry seed" cross, which is named after the rubies decorating the piece.

While Queen Camilla loves to reference her late mother-in-law through accessories, she's not shy about putting her own spin on them. Camilla added a personal touch to one of Queen Elizabeth's most mysterious (yet beloved) brooches. While royal historians haven't been able to figure out the origin of the Lady Jardine Star Brooch, it is known that Elizabeth wore it many times. Camilla updated the brooch by adding a sprig of oak leaves and acorns in honor of one of King Charles' royal ancestors.
