BAY CITY, MI – Three people have filed for two openings on the Bay City Public Schools Board of Education.

Amy Przybylski, Jeff O’Shea and Thomas A. Baird each filed for the nonpartisan positions and will appear on the November ballot, vying for two six-year terms on the school board. The deadline to file for the race was 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 21.

Two seats on the board will be vacant as current board president Joslyn Jamrog and trustee Matt Felan are not seeking another term.

Przybylski is a retired teacher. O’Shea is a community member who previously applied for positions on the Bay City Commission and Bay City Planning Commission. Baird is a longtime school board member who lost his bid for reelection in 2024.
